Collaborations

The collaborative work show on this page began in 2003 when a collector at a show asked Alisha to create a glass table top for a sculptural wood base he would purchase from me. The resulting work was so stunning that Alisha and I immediately realized we must create more collaborative pieces. Since then we have created works for several clients. We exhibit our collaborative tables and wall sculpture regularly and fine art and craft exhibitions.

Alisha captures the magic of glass in ways that have never before been attempted. He has developed the unique technique of sandblasting and deep carving figures out of solid blocks of glass. He has found a way, through light and color, to give the illusion of life to glass.

Each glass table top is designed to compliment the sculptural forms of my wood tables. For the wall sculptures, Alisha sends me small glass sculptures to which I add the wood compliment.
